“The onion colored NV Premier Cru Rosé Extra Brut is a blend of 70% Chardonnay from a steep, east-facing vineyard named La Louvière, with 27% Pinot Noir and 3% red wine from Ambonnay. Pure and very fresh on the nose, the chalky, very vinous and delicate bouquet leads to an almost steely mineral palate with great freshness and purity.” Wine Advocate 92
Gonet-Médeville is an extraordinary champagne made by the couple Xavier Gonet and Julie Médeville. Xavier comes from a family with roots in Champagne, and Julie Médeville from a long lineage in Bordeaux, including the legendary Château Gilette in Sauternes. In 2000 they decided to start a new Champagne project. On a property of 12 hectares, they produce vibrant wines aged in barrels, which are neither chaptalized nor fermented malolactically.
