Dense deep red, revealed elegance and roundness with a spice-dominant palate – liquorice, clove, cinnamon with a warm coulis of red fruits. There are raspberries and blueberries on the palate, integrated and balanced with fine tannin.
Chateau Musar was founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar. In 1959, Serge Hocher became winemaker while he completed his winemaking studies at the 「University of Oenology」in Bordeaux. And he finalized the formula of Musar red wine and kept making fine wine from Lebanese Civil War . The wine of Chateau Musar are unique expressions with an ancient wine-making culture, all the vines have been cultivated from lebanon’s very high altitude Bekaa Valley over 6000 year’s old.
The wine has noticeably sweet and soft, harmonious with evident acidity and good length.
